Mulan a victory for 7th and 8th grade
Sr. Rosie Schwartz directed the 7th and 8th graders to another smashing success with this year’s spring musical, Mulan Jr. Two evening performances plus two matinee performances for the students kept everyone well-entertained.

Students go to Regional Science Fair
A group of students from grades 6 to 8 competed in the 73rd Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair on March 30-31. Six students won medals and prize money, a great showing! (more…)
Art Fair a colorful affair

Halftime show
A varsity basketball player entertained the crowd with some fancy footwork and dramatic dribbling during halftime at a recent boys varsity game.
St. Antoine breaks ground for new school
St. Antoine School in Fondwa, Haiti recently broke ground for a new, permanent school building. The school has long been a sister school to Sacred Heart. The building will replace temporary ones (one visible in background) that have been used since the January, 2010 earthquake destroyed their original buildings.
Science Fair
Volunteer judges talk with students at the annual school science fair for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Students shared the results of months of work and awards were announced the next day. About 30 projects will later compete in a regional competition.
Girls’ basketball honors 8th graders
Girls’ varsity basketball recently honored the 8th-grade team members. Parents and family members participated as each player was recognized and sent off with good wishes for the future.
An important day
Kindergarteners celebrated a big milestone on February 2—the 100th Day of School! They’ve been counting up to it all year and they marked the day with hats, collections of 100 items, and a day-long celebration.
